2016 Raffles

CONGRATULATIONS TO WINNERS AT THE 2016 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

A number of attendees left the SC&RA Annual Conference, April 26-30, in Orlando, with some very attractive prizes. However, the biggest winner of all was the SC&R Foundation, which gained a total of $23,720 from raffle ticket sales. Proceeds will be used to fund the Foundation’s scholarship, education and research programs.

The Mega Raffle for two registrations to a meeting of the winner’s choice raised $7,250. Ben Forster, Rigging Gear Sale, Dixon Ill., walked away with this prize.

The Super Bowl Raffle raised $4,766. The winner was Jeremy Landry, Deep South Crane And Rigging, LLC, Baton Rouge, La.

The Diamond Earrings Raffle raised $3,925. The winner was Hillary Whitcomb, Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Co., Ltd., New York, N.Y.

The  50/50 Raffle raised $3,425 for the Foundation with the other half of the proceeds going to Bernd Schwengsbier, Scheuerle Fahrzeugfabrik GmbH, Germany.

The Wine Raffle during the Foundation’s Shake, Rattle and Roll Gala raised $4,354. Winners were:

• Case – Karen Wood, WHECO Corporation, Richland, Wash.
• Two Bottles – Barb Anderson, Anderson Trucking Service, Inc., St. Cloud, Minn.
• One Bottle – Chris Easter, Keen Transport, Inc., New Kingstown Pa.

Two attendees at the Gala chose boxes containing $500 – Brian Hollerbush, Garrod Hydraulics, Inc., York Pa., and Don Daseke, Daseke Inc.
